Project overview
Frank Schijns Structural Engineering & Design was responsible for the structural calculations and detailed engineering of the filigree slab (lattice girder slab) floor systems for 62 homes within the De Notentuin residential development in Lelystad.
The development is located in the Klein Nooten neighbourhood, adjacent to the future Esdoornpark, and comprises a varied mix of 14 terraced houses, 40 semi-detached houses and 8 detached houses. The homes are characterised by a contemporary rural architectural style with pitched roofs.
The filigree slab floor systems were engineered for both the first and second floors of the residential buildings.
