Project overview
Hofje van Weltevreden is a residential development comprising 31 apartments in Kralingen-Oost, one of Rotterdam’s most distinctive residential areas. The development is situated near the Kralingse Plas and Kralingse Bos and is surrounded by an area characterised by greenery and historic architecture.
The structural engineering scope comprised the design and detailed engineering of the filigree slab (lattice girder slab) floor systems for the first floor, second floor and roof level.
The floor systems were engineered from structural calculations through to detailed reinforcement and production information for the precast concrete elements.
