Project overview
Hoflaan is a residential development comprising 12 apartments in Stolwijk, situated near the centre of the village and adjacent to a pond.
The apartment building forms part of a wider redevelopment of the area between Bovenkerkseweg and Kievitslaan, where outdated buildings have been replaced by a varied residential development. The overall development includes apartments, terraced houses, semi-detached houses and social housing, contributing to the renewal of the neighbourhood and the local demand for housing.
A distinctive architectural feature of the apartment building is the stepped configuration of the rear façade, resulting in variations in the floor geometry and precast slab layout.
The structural engineering scope comprised the design and detailed engineering of the filigree slab (lattice girder slab) floor systems for the apartment building.
