Project overview
For a leading company in the precast concrete industry, a comprehensive BIM library was developed to support the engineering and production of precast concrete elements.
The library consists of a wide range of predefined components and cast-in items that can be incorporated directly into precast concrete elements. In addition, production settings and drawing standards were configured for various element types, including precast concrete walls, columns and filigree slabs.
Several repetitive engineering and modelling processes were also automated, resulting in a more efficient workflow and increased production speed.
